LANTERN AWARD
Triton Industries won the prestigious Lantern Award for top manufacturing business in the Capitol Region. The Lantern Award is presented based on expansion, innovation, and community involvement. The award was presented Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Governor's Mansion in Baton Rouge, LA.
SMALL MANUFACTURER'S AWARD
Triton Industries was recently honored with the Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Louisiana's (MEPOL) Small Manufacturer's Award. The ceremony took place May 24, 2011 at the Governor's Mansion in conjunction with Louisiana Economic Development's Small Business Awards. EXCELLENCE IN INNOVATION AWARD
On May 17, 2011 Triton was honored with the "Excellence in Innovation Award" in Orlando, FL during the 2011 Manufacturing Innovations Conference. This award is given by the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (HMEP). These awards were presented to Owners Mike and Lisa James and General Manager Mike O'Rourke. "Triton was chosen because of their commitment to continuous improvement and innovative product development," says Corinne Dupuy, Director of MEPOL. Triton Industries made national headlines when their innovative systems contributed to the cleanup efforts in the Gulf last year.
